Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar has accepted the resignation of the three-party “government”. According to the illegal “Bayrak”, Mr. Tatar accepted the “resignation” imposed on Tuesday by “Prime Minister” Faiz Suzuoglu.

Before the announcement of his new decision Mr. Tatar, Mr. Suzuoglu rushed to the “presidential” where he talked with the Turkish leader. He then headed to his party headquarters. On his way to the offices of the National Unity Party (KEE), Mr. Soutzouoglou did not make any statements. Earlier, he claimed that Turkey had nothing to do with the new political developments in the occupied territories.

The “presidency” is expected to take a position on the issue in a written statement. Following the resignation of the “government”, Mr. Tatar will be asked to re-hand over the mandate of forming a “government” to a member of the “parliament”.

The three-party government “Formed in the occupied territories after the early” parliamentary elections “, was faced a few days ago with a major crisis. The crisis concerned the open confrontation between the “prime minister” and the “finance minister”, Sunat Atoun, over the management of issues related to the financial crisis in the occupied territories.

It is noted that a few days Before the “resignation” of his “government”, Mr. Suzuoglu went to Ankara where he signed the new “economic protocol” with the Turkish government.
