The importance of early diagnosis in the fight against breast cancer, the most common cancer in women, was highlighted at a charity tea held in the afternoon on Sunday, at the Parklane Hotel in Limassol, with the proceeds going to EUROPA DONNA Cyprus
The event was organized by Argyro Rotsidou,who during her speech thanked the doctors, friends and those who helped her overcome the health problem she faced when she was diagnosed with breast cancer , but at the same time emphasized the importance of prevention and systematic control.
Ms. Rotsidou also mentioned that “psychology plays an important role in the fight against breast cancer,while he noted that medicine has progressed and the facts have changed”. He said, among other things, that “we must follow the example of the people who went through difficult times with their health, stressing that “the pain and suffering they experienced should not go unnoticed”.
