A total of 439 elderly people are expected to be vaccinated today at the largest vaccination center that started operating this morning at the “Spyros Kyprianou” Sports Center in Limassol, thus becoming the fourth vaccination center in the province.
In her statements, the Officer A ', Limassol Health Visitors, Christina Michailidou, stated that there are four vaccination points at the “Spyros Kyprianou” Sports Center, with the possibility of increasing them, depending on the needs.
“Today we have 439 appointments and there are fluctuations every day, depending on the flow of vaccines,” he said, urging the public to keep to the appointment time, for the best possible service.
Asked about this, she said that the vaccinations in the new center are done normally, without any problems, with the flow of people reaching almost 100%, since until noon only one person did not show up for his appointment.
Finally, he thanked the COM for the concession of the space.
Besides, the Health Officer of B Limassol, Maria Papachristoforou, stated that, in case people do not show up on time, “we immediately call them to see if they will come in a reasonable time, so that we can call other people who are on the waiting list “.
“We have a large number of people coming and we are very good so far”, he added and invited everyone to come on time “neither too early, nor too late”.
Vaccination centers also operate in Limassol at the old hospital, the Linopetra Health Center and the Kyperounta Regional Hospital.
