Statements to the press office of APOEL were given by the four leaders of the blue and yellows, after the publication of their new role.
The statements in detail:
Ephraim: It is a huge personal honor to wear the armband and I feel proud to be the leader of APOEL. As a leader and member of this Idea, I want with all my soul to honor the armband and to contribute the most so that the team is where it really fits in its history. At the top.
De Vincenti: I am very proud to be the leader of a team that has written a huge history. I had the privilege to compete next to great personalities who wore the armband such as Nuno Morais, Konstantinos Charalambidis and Nektarios Alexandrou. I learned a lot from them but mainly I learned the meaning of the 5 letters and what they mean for the APOELists. I hope to help the team achieve its lofty goals and make our fans happy because they really deserve it.
Vinicius: Being on APOEL's roster is already a great honor for me. Being one of the leaders and representing my teammates either on or off the field is the highest honor a footballer can have. It makes me feel very proud but also a sense of responsibility. But at the same time it gives me a strong motivation and desire to win many titles and to be a member of the history of this historical and great team.
Kvilitaia: This is the first time I will wear the leader's armband in a team. It is a huge responsibility especially in a football club with a tradition and a huge history such as APOEL. I am very happy and I feel ready to take on this responsibility and contribute to the success of APOEL.
