The ratio of the total number of mobile telephony users in relation to the population of the Republic of Cyprus in the second half of 2021 increased by 2.8% compared to the first half of 2021, reaching 148.7%, according to the latest statistical bulletin. of the Electronic Communications and Post Office (GERHET).

An increase of 0.4% compared to the first half of 2021 was recorded by Primetel, which now controls 10.2% of the market, while Cablenet increased its share to 3.5% from 2.3% which controlled 30 June 2021.
Among contract subscribers, Cyta took first place in December 2021, with 53.5% compared to 54.3% in June 2021, while Epic took second place, with a market share of 32.5% compared to 33 , 3% in the first half of 2021. Primetel saw its shares fall 0.2% to 9.3%, while Cablenet now controls 4.7% of the market, up from 3% in June. 2021.
