The Meteorological Service has issued a new yellow warning for high temperatures, which will take effect on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will reach 40 degrees and will be valid from 11:00 to 16:00.
According to the Meteorological forecast, “seasonal low pressure is affecting the area.
Tonight, the weather will be mostly clear. Locally, light mist or fog and low cloud may form during the morning hours. The winds will gradually become mainly variable light, 3 Beaufort and the sea will be calm to a little rough. The temperature will drop to 22 degrees inland, around 24 on the coast and 20 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tomorrow, the weather will be mostly clear, although there will be locally increased clouds in the midday and early afternoon, mainly in the mountains. Winds will be mainly southwest to northwest, initially light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and later moderate to strong, 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough to gradually become slightly rough to rough on the windward side. The temperature will reach 40 degrees inland, 32 degrees on the west coast, around 34 degrees on the rest of the coast and 31 degrees in the higher mountains.

The temperature on Thursday will drop, to fluctuate close to the average climatic values, while on No significant change is expected on Friday and Saturday.
