Weak high pressure affects the area. Initially, today's weather will be mainly clear, with some passing clouds in the west and on the north coasts, however, gradually increased clouds will appear in places, especially in the mountains, in the western and southern areas of Troodos, where isolated light showers may fall rains. A little snow or sleet will fall in the mountains. Winds will be mainly northwest to northeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient locally moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough and locally on the eastern coast a little rough. The temperature will rise to around 13 degrees in the interior and on the southwest coasts, around 15 on the rest of the coasts and around 3 degrees in the higher mountains. Locally, frost is expected to prevail in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, however, there will be temporarily increased clouds on the west and south coasts. Winds will be northwest to northeast, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort and transient, locally on the north, west and south coasts, moderate, 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to a little rough, but gradually, in the west and north, locally it will be a little rough. The temperature will drop to around zero degrees inland, around 5 along the coast and around minus 4 in the higher mountains. Frost is expected to form in mountainous and inland areas.
On Thursday the weather will initially be mostly clear, however from midday onwards, locally increased clouds may give isolated light rain, mainly in southern areas of Troodos and some snow or sleet in the mountains.
On Friday, the weather will be mostly clear, although in places there will be temporarily increased clouds, from noon onwards. On Saturday the weather will be partly cloudy and locally cloudy.
The temperature until Saturday is expected to rise gradually, to fluctuate close to or even slightly above the average climatic values for the season . The height of the snow in Troodos Square, at the time of issuing the bulletin, was 51 cm.
