The purpose of organized parents is the proper operation of school units with the ultimate goal of safety and health of our children, says the President of the Federation of Parents and Guardians of Primary Schools of Paphos City and Province, Annita Taliotou.
According to Ms. Taliotou, with the return of children to schools, measures and health protocols should be implemented to reduce and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
He also announced that in a meeting to be held with the Minister of Education, suggestions will be discussed, as well as possible negative effects that may have the specific measures announced on January 5.
He added that thousands of students in Europe, as well as in Cyprus, returned to school after the Christmas holidays, despite concerns about the “Omicron” mutation. “Everyone is worried about the possible outbreak of the cases,” he added.
All of us, responsibly and seriously, parents, students and teachers “should support the effort to keep schools open with safety and health” concluded Ms. Taliotou.
