The new charges for parking at Mall of Cyprus and IKEA

How the new system will work and how much you will pay

A charge for parking at the Mall of Cyprus and IKEA is imposed from 1 September. According to an announcement by The Mall of Cyprus, “the goal is to make better use of the available parking space and to serve its visitors more efficiently.” In particular, all visitors will be entitled to two hours of free parking from the time of their arrival at the Mall of Cyprus. At the end of their visit, they will be directed to one of the exits of the parking lot and if the visit duration is less than 2 hours, the parking bars will open automatically to exit the parking lot.

The announcement

The Mall of Cyprus is adopting controlled parking for the first time with the aim of better utilizing the available parking space and serving its visitors more efficiently. The new, automatic, paperless Sensipark system will be implemented from September 1.

All visitors will be entitled to 2 hours of FREE parking from the time of their arrival at the Mall of Cyprus. At the end of their visit, they will be directed to one of the exits of the parking area and if the visit duration is less than 2 hours, the parking bars will open automatically to exit the parking lot.

If the duration of the visit to the Mall of Cyprus is for more than 2 hours, the amount to be paid will be automatically calculated with the time of the visit, and the amount will be displayed on the screen of the payment terminal located at the exits of the parking lot. The payment process for guests will be fast, seamless and easy. Once the payment is processed, the parking barriers will automatically open and guests can exit.

HOW IT WORKS:

• The signs of your car number and arrival time are recorded by the system when you enter the parking lot.
• At the end of your visit, drive your car to one of the parking lot exits.
• If your visit was less than 2 hours, the parking bars will open automatically.

< li>If the duration of your visit was longer than 2 hours, the amount to be paid will be displayed on the screen of the payment terminal.

• Present your Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay at the terminal and proceed in contactless payment. The parking bars will open automatically.

VISIT K-CINEPLEX:

< p>Visitors to the Mall of Cyprus who purchase a ticket at K-Cineplex are entitled to free parking for the day of the screening only. Validation of free parking will be done at the K-Cineplex box office upon presentation of the purchased ticket.

VISIT IKEA

IKEA visitors are entitled to one additional hour of free parking with a purchase of €10 or more. To receive your free parking time, take the validation code from the IKEA cashier at the end of your visit and enter the validation code and your car number plate on the relevant tablet found in the area after the cashiers.
