On Wednesday, July 31, at the showroom of Michaels Automotive Limited in Nicosia, the official representative of Ford vehicles in Cyprus, the new Ford Kuga was presented to the media.

Ford is encouraging drivers to embrace the electric future with the new Ford Kuga – the number 1 selling plug-in hybrid in Europe for the 3rd consecutive year from 2021 to 2023. The bold new Kuga offers amazing performance from hybrids drive systems, the convenience of seamless connectivity and a full range of advanced driver assistance systems of the latest generation that make it ideal for everyday adventures.
The new Kuga range – built in Europe and designed for European drivers – offers up to 69 kilometers of exclusive electric driving for Kuga PHEV drivers. For Kuga Hybrid drivers it offers the convenience of an electric drive system, with up to 900km driving range on a single tank of fuel and up to 64% exclusive electric driving in the city.
Both Kuga Plug-In Hybrid and Kuga Hybrid AWD offer significantly improved acceleration, with the reduced emissions of an electrified driving experience. Offering up to 2,100kg of towing capacity, the towing power surpasses all competitors meaning the new Kuga can tackle anything.
During the event, Operations Manager Stelios Asinenos presented the innovative features of the new Kuga, highlighting its improved performance, increased towing capacity and advanced driver assistance technology.
Fresh design and flawless connectivity
The new Kuga has evolved both internally and externally, with a fresh design. The smart Titanium model, the sporty ST-Line and the Active offer unique design features. The Titanium range is equipped with all the technology and equipment a customer could need, the ST-Line offers a dynamic sporty design and an exciting driving experience, and the Active presents a rugged look with a higher suspension for the toughest driving conditions.< /p>
Inside, the new Kuga features Ford's latest generation SYNC 4 infotainment system. Integrating seamlessly with smartphones, it features 5G connectivity for quick access to information, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for wireless access to key apps and information.

Advanced driver assistance technology supports an easy, comfortable drive even in the most challenging conditions. The new Adaptive Cruise Control can now automatically apply the brakes for bends and intersections – as well as other traffic, while the 360-degree camera system offers aerial surveillance to make parking, preparing to hook up to a trailer a breeze.
Practicality is at the heart of the new Kuga interior, offering comfort and convenience, ready for adventures in the city and beyond! The movable second rows of seats can increase legroom to over 1 meter for rear passengers or create up to 140 liters of extra storage space.
