Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew expressed warm congratulatory wishes on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and himself personally to the newly elected Archbishop N. Justinianis and George of all Cyprus, during a telephone conversation they had at noon.
The two Primates agreed to strengthen the cooperation of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Church of Cyprus, especially on issues of Orthodox and inter-Christian interest.
