In a written statement, the Government Spokesman, Marios Pelekanos, states that the Government understands the interest and suggestions of either the parties or the social partners, for the phenomena we are watching as a result of the global economic crisis due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and “This is a new global economic crisis that all states have to deal with,” he said, adding that ” “Once again, Cyprus bears the burden of the consequences, which to the best of its ability the Cypriot economy has to face.”
