Police arrested two people in the early hours of today, in order to facilitate the investigations, regarding an investigated case of illegal import, possession, use and possession of drugs in order to supply and launder income from illegal activities.
Specifically, according to the Police, yesterday morning, information was received from two women aged 25 and 29, that while they were abroad, they met on social media a person who arranged their arrival in Cyprus and their presence in party at a house in Limassol.
In a search carried out yesterday at noon by members of YKAN, in the said house in Limassol, were found and confiscated as evidence, a large amount of money, a small amount of cocaine, as well as a precision scale with traces of cocaine.
To facilitate the investigation, four persons aged 25, 29, 38 and 27 were arrested in connection with the above investigated case. The 25-year-old and the 29-year-old were then released from detention pending the scientific examinations, while the 38-year-old and the 27-year-old are expected to appear today before the Limassol District Court.
