The President of Estonia will pay an official visit to Cyprus on March 26 to 28, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letympiotis said today.
In his statements to the journalists, at the Presidential Palace, the Spokesperson said that the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis, will tomorrow have a meeting with his Estonian counterpart, Alan Karis, who will make a three-day official visit to Cyprus.
President Karis will arrive in Cyprus today, accompanied by his wife, and tomorrow morning he will be at the Presidential Palace.
After the official welcome ceremony, President Christodoulidis and his Estonian counterpart will sit in a Private meeting.
Extended talks by the delegations of the two countries will follow, and then the two Presidents will make statements to the media.
Then, the Estonian President will go to the House of Representatives and then return to the Presidential Palace, where the President of the Republic will host an official dinner for the President of Estonia.
In the afternoon they will go to Nicosia City Hall, from where the President of Estonia, accompanied by the President of the Republic, will be guided around the area along the of the ceasefire line.
President Karis will also visit the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the University of Cyprus, while in the evening he will attend a dinner hosted by the KEBE in his honor.
On 28 March, the President of Estonia will visit the premises of the Commission of Inquiry on Missing Persons, the Cyprus Institute and Training Center for Land and Maritime Security and Port Security, CYCLOPS, before departing Cyprus in the afternoon .
