The problems they face were discussed by the leaders of the refugee football clubs with the President of the KOA Andreas Michaelidis in a meeting they had today.
In meeting, according to a statement by the KOA, the refugee clubs referred to the financial problems they face – especially as things have shaped up worldwide today – and asked for further support from the Cyprus Sports Organization to cover their ever-increasing operational costs, but also to improve of their sports facilities".
The CMO delegation noted that they will consider these requests in the coming week pointing out the support provided by the CMO over time.
According to the relevant announcement, from the KOA side, the meeting was attended by the members of the Board of Directors, Sotiris Adamou, Andronikos Andronikou and the Officers, Dimitris Partellas, Paris Avraamidis, Deni Iliadou, Litsa Papageorgiou and Loukia Giavri.
On the part of the refugees football clubs, the President of Achnas National Club, Kikis Filippou, the President of Nea Salamina, Giorgos Chrysostomou, the President of National Assias, Antonis Mavris and Secretary General of Digenis Akritas, Andreas Stylianidis, in the presence of MPs Christos Senekis and Nikos Kettiros.
