The Ministry of Health informs that after prior consultation with stakeholders, the Special Protocol was drawn up that will govern the dining and entertainment areas allowing dancing, in an effort to keep the specific premises safe and in operation. & Nbsp; The following guidelines – conditions were discussed and approved by the Scientific Advisory Committee during the meeting held on February 21, 2022 .
The Special Protocol is addressed to restaurants, entertainment centers, music and dance centers and takes effect from tomorrow, Thursday 24 February 2022 at 10 am. & nbsp; The maximum number of people in the above spaces is 500 people , meaning that the area of the space allows the ratio 1.5 sq.m. per person.
Specifically:
a) Dining areas, entertainment centers, music and dance centers that have more than 225 sq.m. available service area (excluding kitchens, toilets, warehouses) and can accommodate over 150 people and there is dancing, the entry will be allowed:
People 12 years and older who have a valid negative antigen test ( Rapid > test ) valid 15 hours regardless of vaccination coverage or certificate of recovery . In children aged 6-11 years who have a valid negative antigen test ( Rapid test ) strength 7 days regardless of vaccination coverage or certificate of recovery . It is emphasized that the owner/manager of the premises/company must inform the Ministry of Health with a signed written responsible statement that his premises will accommodate more than 150 people based on its square footage and will provide music and dance entertainment, but also the details of the address: healthservices@mphs.moh.gov.cy (The Responsible Statement is included in the Special Protocol).
b) Dining areas, nightclubs, which according to the square meters accommodate more than 150 people and there is no dancing, entry will be allowed :
In persons without a history of vaccination with Rapid screening or PCR b> 24 hour power. Individuals 12 years of age or older who have completed their immunization program, or have received a booster dose, or who have a certificate of illness with a valid vaccination or illness certificate. . In children aged 6-11 years with a history of vaccination with a valid certificate of vaccination or disease, or without a history of vaccination with a valid negative antigen test (Rapid test) valid for 7 days.
c) Restaurants, nightclubs, which based on square meters host under 150 people and there is or there is no dancing, entry will be allowed:
In people without a history of vaccination with screening test Rapid 24-hour PCR or PCR In people 12 years of age and older who have completed their vaccination program, or received a booster dose, or have a disease certificate with demonstration of a valid vaccination or disease certificate. In children aged 6-11 years with a history of vaccination with a valid vaccination or disease certificate, or without a history of vaccination with a valid negative 7-day valid antigen test (Rapid test) identification of the person with proof of identification (identity card, passport, driver's license and birth certificate c children under 12 years).
