< p>AEK is expected to line up full, barring the unexpected, in the game… of six points against Paphos FC on Monday (22/1) at the “Arena”. After the impressive comeback he made with Ran Ben Simon on his bench, covering a significant part of the lost ground of the first matches, AEK enters a program – fire until the end of the regular season of the championship with consecutive derbies, the results of which will determine, to a large extent, the team's goals.
With a possible victory in the match of the 20th matchday, AEK will break away from the 6th place and overcome its next opponent, while at the same time taking advantage and any losses resulting from the Aris – Anorthosis derby, getting closer to the European positions.
The only (competitive) question mark has to do with Roberges, whose condition will be clarified in tomorrow's final training session. If the international stopper is unable to compete, then the Tomovic-Milicevic duo will be retained at the back. Tradition has been on the side of AEK for the last six years welcoming Paphos.
Since the 2017-18 season, when the Paphites returned to the big salons, the Larnakas as hosts, in a total of eight games, have five wins (one on paper), two draws and one defeat.
