The Republic of Cyprus needs careful management and protection, says the President of EDEK
In case of participation of the President of the Republic in an informal five-party process “his handling should be very careful, with the main goal of preventing a possible capitalization of additional benefits by Turkey and the occupying regime”, said the President of EDEK , Marinos Sizopoulos.
In his statements after today's session of the National Council, chaired by Nikos Anastasiadis, Mr. Sizopoulos said that careful management and especially protection of the Republic of Cyprus and its state entity is required.
“Today's briefing by the President of the Republic confirms both the ambiguity of the procedure and the preparation framework for the informal five-party conference, which is scheduled to convene in February,” said the President of EDEK.
