Announcement of the Ministry of Health for sampling points in school units and clinical laboratories in the framework of the implementation of the measure & # 8220; test to stay & # 8221 ;, which will operate tomorrow, March 18, the Ministry of Health announced.
Specifically, there will be a total of 357 points, of which 259 in schools and 98 in clinical laboratories.
The specific points will operate from 7:00 am to 8:00 am for the best service of the people who will be close contacts. (For students of Secondary Education it is recommended that they arrive between the hours of 07:00 – 07:30, so that there is no further loss of teaching time).

The implementation of the measure “test to stay” in Primary and Secondary education of the Public and Private sector, is addressed to students and teachers who are close contacts of a confirmed positive incident and according to the protocol are obliged to self-restraint.
Instructions to teachers :
Teachers in Public and Private Secondary and Primary Education (primary, kindergartens, special schools) who are close contacts within the school and use the application of the measure “test to stay” will be able to attend the designated points in schools or clinical laboratories announced daily by the Ministry of Health, to perform a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) daily for the period of 7 consecutive days after contact. It is understood that during the weekend, the “test to stay” procedure is not required.
The measure is aimed at teachers who do not have a history of vaccination, or who have received at least one dose of vaccine, or who have completed their vaccination schedule and the 7-month period has elapsed, or who have become ill and the 90-day period has elapsed.
The measure has no retroactive effect. It is addressed to teachers who will report close contacts of a confirmed positive incident from Monday, March 14, 2022.
The exam will be provided free of charge.
Teachers who will not use this measure in in case of contact with a positive incident, they should make use of the special leave of absence.
Teachers who are in close contact will receive from the Head of Tracking of the school unit, the Check Record Form that they will present for the period of 7 days upon their arrival at the predetermined points and then display it upon entering the school unit./p>
This measure only applies to school hours (including single-day schools and optional full-time schools) and after teachers leave school, they should be restricted as they continue to be considered close contacts and will not be can take part in other evening activities.
Instructions for students:
Adherence to the above measure is optional and is addressed only to students who are close contacts of a confirmed positive COVID-19 incident and according to a protocol should be self-restrained and declared within the school, as defined by the health protocol governing the school units (two meters distance from all directions of the positive incident, inside the school room, during the break, during the sports and during the transport by private vehicle).
Specifically:
Students who do not have a history of vaccination, or have received at least one dose of the vaccine, or who have become ill and the 90-day period has elapsed, have the option of either being restricted for 10 days as required by the relevant protocol or released on the 7th day after Rapid antigen test (Rapid test) or PCR laboratory test, or come to the predetermined points for a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) daily for a period of 7 consecutive days after contact. It is understood that during the weekend, the “test to stay” procedure is not required.
Students participating in the “test to stay” are not required to come to the pre-determined sampling points referred by the Ministry of Health for a rapid antigen test (Rapid test) on the 3rd and 5th day from the date of contact.
This measure only applies to school opening hours (including single all-day schools and optional all-day schools) and once close contacts are removed from schools, they should be restricted as they continue to be considered close contacts and do not will be able to take part in other evening activities (such as tutoring, sports, etc.)
Students should avoid being transported by public transport and going to school by private vehicle.
The absence of students/three from the class during the laboratory testing process will be justified.
It is clarified that if a person is tested in the afternoon and found positive , his contacts at school will be able to make use of the application of the measure & # 8220; test to stay & # 8221 ;.
Primary and Secondary Education students residing in a remote or mountainous communities will continue to be served by the sampling points that will visit the school units. parents/guardians.
