The National Search and Rescue Plan “NEARCHOS” was immediately activated, and aeronautical means and groups of divers were mobilized in the area, which carried out Search operations to locate the missing person.
The operation involved a helicopter of the Police Air Operations Squadron with a specialized ambulance service nurse, a Larnaca L&A boat with a group of divers, groups of divers of the National Guard (MYK) and EMAK, patrols of the Larnaca Police Department with Larnaca Administration and members of the Larnaca airport rescue team.
