The mistakes of the police in the case of Kyriaki Griva's murder, as mentioned in the documents of the EDE

The police officer is also under disciplinary control – the purpose of the department, who, however, was already under suspension after his conviction for participating in a serious criminal case. In the context of the current disciplinary investigation, however, the person conducting the EDE accuses him that when Kyriaki Griva and her friend who accompanied her addressed him asking if there is a patrol car available to accompany the 28-year-old to her home, he answered in the negative. But mainly she accuses him that while the attack took place in front of him, he did not react to prevent it. “You did not leave the police station as expected, as a result of which you did not notice a person (man) who, riding a motorcycle, approached the above A.T. and parked the motorcycle on the pavement, at a distance of 30 meters from the police station”.
The final conclusion of the EDE is expected to be delivered to the General Police Director of Attica and to the leadership of EL.AS. the next twenty-four hours.
