In connection with reports about the fullness of the Covid-19 ward at the General Hospital of Paphos, the State Health Services Organization (OKYPY) clarifies that the situation remains manageable in all its hospitals and in no case are urgent discharges given for the treatment of more serious cases. . If in a Hospital his beds for covid are occupied, then the patient is transferred to the nearest Hospital that has available beds.

OKYPY assures that the situation is constantly monitored and evaluated and wherever needs arise, all necessary measures are taken to provide quality health services to all citizens. Currently, 270 patients with Covid-19 are being treated in OKYPY hospitals, of which 55 in MAF and 37 in ICU.
