Trading on the Cyprus Stock Exchange ended with a rise on Monday. The General Index recorded gains of 0.91%, closing at 124.64 points.
The FTSE/CySE 20 index also recorded gains of 0.87%, closing at 75.49 points, The value of transactions amounted to 305,025.09 euros.
All the individual stock market indexes also moved profitably, with the Main Market increasing by 1.26%, closing at 91.84 points, the Alternative Market recording gains 0.41%, closing at 1,165.07 units, while Hotels showed the biggest increase with 4.10%, closing at 966.96 units. The only exception was the Investments, which closed unchanged at 1,166.21 units.
The Bank of Cyprus shares attracted the most investment interest with €241,053.55 (up 1.01% – closing price €2 .99), of Logicom with €27,197.2 (up 4.84% – closing price €2.6), of Hellenic Bank with €18,349.2 (up 0.48% – closing price €2.08), of Salamis Tours with €3,852 (up 0.57% – closing price €3.52) and Frou-Frou with €3,140.42 (up 2.14% – closing price €0.286).
From of the stocks traded, eight advanced, three declined and four remained unchanged. Transactions amounted to 84.
