The Cyprus Stock Exchange recorded a fall on Monday. The General Index lost 0.43%, closing at 108.95 points. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index fell by 0.44%, closing at 65.89 points. The daily turnover amounted to €61,066.90.

Profits were recorded by the indices of Hotels at a rate of 1.33%, Investment Companies at a rate of 0.39% and the Alternative Market at a rate of 0.14%.

On the contrary, the Main Market index showed a decline of percentage of 0.52%.

The greatest investment interest was attracted by the securities of Dimitra Investments with €11,346.46 (up 0.41% – closing price €0.49).

The shares of Hellenic Bank followed with €10,031.71 (down 0.56% – closing price €1.79), Bank of Cyprus with €9,605.12 (down 1.14% – closing price €2.60), of Alkis Hadjikyriakos (Frou-Frou biscuits) with €8,775 (no change – closing price €0.27) and ATLANTIC INSURANCE with €5,160 (no change – closing price €1.72).

From shares traded, four moved up, three down and ten remained unchanged.

The number of transactions was limited to 71.

Meanwhile, the Cyprus Stock Exchange announces the continuation of the suspension trading of the securities of the company The Reputation Exchange Plc (NEW Market).

This decision was taken in accordance with Article 183 of the Law on Securities and the Cyprus Stock Exchange, as long as the reasons that impose the continuation of the suspension of trading of the company's securities, due to non-compliance with the obligation for Clearing Agency services, non-compliance with the obligation for Import Consultant services and non-submission and publication of the Annual Financial Report for the year ended 12/31/2022.

The continuation of the trading suspension will be effective from May 30, 2023.

< p>It is noted that the trading suspension will last for 2 months (ie until 31 July 2023) or sooner if the company complies with its outstanding continuing obligations.
