The Cyprus Stock Exchange recorded a fall on Wednesday.

The General Index lost 0.59%, closing at 116.96 points .

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index fell by 0.59%, closing at 70.75 points. The daily turnover was €338,733.65.

Losses were recorded by the indices of the Main Market at a rate of 1.04%, Investment Companies at a rate of 0.06% and Hotels at a rate of 3.09%.

The Alternative Market recorded gains of 0.24%.

The greatest investment interest was attracted the Hellenic Bank securities at €148,062.85 (down 0.51% – closing price €1.95). This was followed by the shares of Bank of Cyprus with €96,935.01 (down 1.35% – closing price €2.93), Vassilikos Cement with €26,932.60 (no change – closing price €2.70), Dimitra Investments with €21,691.37 (no change – closing price €0.535) and KEO with €12,157.74 (up 2% – closing price €1.53).

Of stocks traded, five advanced, nine declined and seven remained unchanged.

The number of trades was limited to 172.
