The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 57.72 points, recording gains of 0.42%.

The Cyprus Stock Exchange returned to an upward trend on Monday, after the fall in the last two stock market meetings, maintaining gains within 2023 of around 7%. The General Index closed at 95.58 points, marking an increase of 0.37%. The value of the transactions was €80,664.

The FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 57.72 points, recording gains of 0.42%.

As for the individual stock market indices, losses of 1.51% were recorded only by the Investment Companies index. On the contrary, the indices of the Main Market gained by 0.39%, the Alternative Market by 0.39% and the Hotels by 0.95%.

The biggest investment interest was attracted by the shares of Bank of Cyprus with €41,902 (closing price €1,895 – up 0.26%), Demetra Holdings with €11,682 (closing price €0,48 – down 1.64%), Hellenic Bank with €10,087 (closing price €1.55 – up 1.64%), Salamis Tours (Holdings) with €9,400 (closing price €1.88 – up 1.62%) and Alki Hatzikyriakos with €2,610 (price closing €0.264 – up 1.54%).

Of the shares traded, 10 moved up and 7 down. The number of transactions reached 82.

Furthermore, the Stock Exchange decided, at the request of the company Intraware Investments Public Ltd (the “Company”), to proceed with the deletion of its shares from the NEW Market, in accordance with the authority granted to him by Article 178(1) of the Law on Securities and the Cyprus Stock Exchange and Paragraph 2.4.1.3 of CCP 379/2014 as amended.

It states that the deletion of the company's shares from the Stock Exchange will be effective from January 30, 2023 and adds that the company's securities will remain suspended from trading until they are delisted. It also states that on the same date, the company's securities will also be deleted from the Central Depository and Central Register of Securities, in accordance with Article 19 of the Cyprus Securities and Stock Exchange (Central Depository and Central Register of Securities) Law.
