Tuesday, April 30, 2024, is the last date for submitting electronic applications for “Participation in the Replenishment Plan of the National Solidarity Fund”, as announced by the Ministry of Finance, following an earlier announcement.
The Ministry of the Interior states that “Participation in the Replenishment Plan of the National Solidarity Fund” can only be done by submitting an electronic application and invites the affected persons to submit their electronic applications no later than April 30, 2024. since beyond that date it will not be possible to submit electronic applications.
The Ministry of Finance states that affected Natural and Legal Persons who had the characteristics of a “private client” and whose deposits and securities had been impaired during 2013, due to the implementation of consolidation measures in the two systemic Banks (Bank of Cyprus) have the possibility to submit electronic Applications and Laiki Bank).
He adds that access to the online service for submitting an online Application for participation in the “National Solidarity Fund Replenishment Plan” is done through Cy Login Profile (The online service is available from the following link: https://www.gov.cy/gr/hlektronikes-yphresies/epixeirimatiki-drastiriotita/programmata-enisxysis-epixeiriseon/symmetoxi-sto-sxedio-toy-ethnikoy-tameioy-allileggyis).
Specifically, the Ministry of Finance reports that for natural persons access is made with a Cypriot identity card or residence permit in Cyprus (ARC), while for Legal Entities with a registration number in Cyprus: Registration AND identification on the CY Login (formerly Ariadne) Government Internet Portal is required.
It also mentions that of course Persons who do not have a Cypriot identity card and are not residents of Cyprus as well as Legal Entities who do not have a registration number in Cyprus are required to register on the Government Portal CY Login, and the identification it will be done when submitting their Application by entering and uploading some additional data and documents.
