In a written statement, the Department of Agriculture states that “from Monday, February 8, it receives applications, Statements of Damage, for the damage caused by hail on outdoor vegetables on January 30, 2021 in the Community of Tersefanos, for the damage caused by windstorms in 30 January 2021 in the Community of Ormidia, in mandarin peanuts in Pano Lefkara and for the damages caused by a tornado to agricultural holdings on 16, 27 and 30 January 2021 in the Communities of Pano Lefkara, Maroni, Xirofa, Kofinou.
It is added that “the damage Statement forms for the Revised National Framework are in the offices of the Larnaca District Agricultural Office. The owners, tenants or managers of the affected farms are invited to submit the duly completed Damage Declaration form no later than February 22, 2021 to the Larnaca District Agricultural Office “.
It is clarified that “in the relevant form the details of the plot and the details of the crop that has been affected should be clearly stated. The form must be accompanied by a copy of the Application for Hectarian Subsidies to the KOAP for 2020 “.
The announcement also states that “according to the Law on Risk Management in agricultural production and related issues Law of 2019 (103 I / 2019), in all cases of crops provided for the submission of a Crop Declaration, it must have already been submitted by those affected . In cases where the harvest will take place immediately, representative witnesses should be left, in consultation with the officials of the District Agricultural Office “.
