The seventh Limassol Marine Show, held at the Limassol Marina from 18 to 21 May 2023, was once again a huge success, recording a new attendance record of over 40,000 visitors.
Based on the visitor statistics as well as commercial transactions, it is now a fact that this year's Exhibition is probably the most popular and most successful event in the Eastern Mediterranean.
The Limassol Boat Show 2023, which undoubtedly contributed significantly to the establishment of Cyprus on the global yachting map, attracted for another year extensive and international interest with visitors and journalists from all over Europe, Asia and many other parts of the world, visiting the our island exclusively for this purpose.
Visitors were able to admire the latest in yachting, water sports, recreational fishing, diving and other industry services, product displays, a marine environment information center and marine activity demonstrations. Luxury yachts, which were presented for the first time in the Eastern Mediterranean, made an important presence at the event again this year, from more than 120 exhibitors from Cyprus, Greece, Great Britain, Israel, Lebanon, the USA and Finland, “stealing” the performance. With their total value exceeding €90 million, their impressive exterior appearance and aesthetically elegant interior design captivated everyone's eyes, creating a unique atmosphere.
Special mention should be made of the conference which was organized and hosted for the first time within the framework of the Exhibition. The “Limassol Boat Show Conference: Cyprus, the new yachting hub of the East Med”, which was an equally huge success with outstanding speakers, offered new information and insights to attendees on the future of the yachting industry in the Eastern Mediterranean, with focus of course on Cyprus and Limassol Marina.
At the same time, the Limassol Boat Show 2023 was decorated with luxury cars and supercars which were presented for the first time in Cyprus, by the company E-Cars Group, the platinum sponsor of this year's Exhibition. The show was stolen by the unique presentations of the Maserati Gran Turismo and the Bentley Bentayga.
The program of the four-day exhibition was enriched even more by the artistic performances of the group “Fortissimo” which offered a unique show with electronic music, the special live performance by the jazz group “The Jazz Lounge Project” and the enjoyable music selections by the DJs Asimenos and DJ George Berek.
In his statements after the end of the event, the Director of the organizing company Dacor Advertising & Media Ltd, Mr. Aristos Aristidou, stated that, “It was by far the most successful Marine Show that has been held not only in Cyprus but also in the Greater Eastern Mediterranean region. This does not come from our point of view but from the point of view of dozens of representatives of large Shipyards who compare the Limassol Boat Show with other large Boat Shows abroad. It is a great satisfaction for us that the exhibitors had a positive result from the Limassol Boat Show and the visitors really enjoyed a unique experience”.
