With a delay of about a month, the Tender Council today re-awarded the bid for the Paphos Polis Chrysochous highway to the Intrakat consortium. It was preceded by a re-evaluation of the bids submitted during the tender announcement and the technical dossier was mainly examined.
It is recalled that the Tender Board had initially awarded the bid to Intrakat, which had submitted the most advantageous proposal. However, there was an appeal by the AVAX CYBARCO consortium to the Tender Review Authority, from which it was vindicated. The decision of the Tender Board was annulled mainly for insignificant reasons concerning the experience of some of Intrakat's associates.
