The number of trips of Cypriots abroad in June 2021 amounted to 35,361 compared to 11,726 in June 2020, recording an increase of 201.6% and a decrease of 74.4% compared to June 2019, the Statistical Service said in a statement.
He adds that “the main countries from which the inhabitants of Cyprus returned in June 2021, were Greece with 46.1%, the United Kingdom with 9.9% and Russia with 5.5%”.
According to the announcement, the data for June 2021 came from the processing of the data of the electronic platform “Cyprus Flight Pass”.
Also, “due to the problems that arose from the completion of the data by the passengers themselves, it was not possible to further analyze the data”, the Statistical Service concludes.
