With deep sadness, the University of Nicosia mourns the untimely death of Christina Loizou, who for more than two decades was an active member of the University family and one of the pioneers in the establishment and operation of the Association Sociologists of Cyprus.
During the 22 years she served the University, Christina worked tirelessly as a researcher and as a member of the special teaching staff, in the field of Sociology. In recent years, he was the head of the Office of the President of the University.
The funeral of Christina Loizou will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 11:00, in the Holy Church of Agios Nikolaos in Engomi.
