The work stoppage at Famagusta General Hospital is suspended following the intervention of the PtD.
The Pancypriot Nurses Union and the General Nursing Staff Branch PASYDY announce that, following the intervention of the president of of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Christodoulidis, the work stoppage at Famagusta General Hospital, announced for tomorrow, Tuesday, March 14, 2023, between the hours of 12 p.m. – 12.30 p.m.
The work stoppage had been announced due to the non-renewal of the contract of two nurses, who were employed due to Covid with the status of requisition.
Mr. Christodoulidis stated that , after his return to Cyprus, will discuss the matter with the aim of resolving it.
