Five measures to deal with punctuality, the Council of Ministers decided in an extraordinary session held on Thursday morning, under the President of the Republic. As announced by the Minister of Finance, Makis Keravnos, this new package concerns, on the one hand, an extension of existing measures and, on the other hand, new support measures.
In his statements after the Cabinet meeting, Mr. Keravnos said that “today the Cabinet decided on another package of measures. The new package includes about five meters. There are new measures and there are measures that are in force and will continue to apply until the end of June. Because we realize the increase in household living and taking into account the fiscal conditions we announce today's targeted measures”.

-The first measure is the extension of the targeted electricity measure for another two months . The estimated cost of the measure amounts to 8 million.
-The second measure is the extension of the zero rate on basic items, such as milk, diapers, food, vegetables, meat, etc. until the end of June
-The third measure, as announced by the Minister of Finance, it is the strengthening of family income as compensation for the horizontal abolition of fuel. One-off subsidy until the end of June to specific households and those receiving benefits. Eg Recipients of child benefit, single-parent families, etc. This is the measure that was in the previous package of measures. Mr. Keravnos pointed out that “the households that receive EEE will have a lump sum of 100 euros for three months”.
-The fourth measure is the grant of a lump sum who are recipients of mobility allowance.
-The fifth measure is the strengthening of the income of low pensioners, who will receive 100 every month, until June.
