The free screening program for coronavirus with rapid antigen tests of employees continues today, Monday 1 February, while at the same time the screening program of the general population is being carried out.

Twelve sampling points will operate today in the city and province of Larnaca and seven in the province of Famagusta.

Specifically in Larnaca from 08.30 in the morning until 18.00 in the evening there will be places in the Cultural Center “Agios Georgios Kontos”, in the Municipal Theater of Larnaca, in the Hall of the Cultural Center “Agios Savvas” in Livadia, in the church of Apostolos Barnabas (Krasia area), at the Municipal Amphitheater of Dromolaxia and at the House of the Association “Omonia Aradippou” in Aradippou.

From 08.30 in the morning until 13.00 at noon sampling points will operate in the building of the old Grocery in Xylotympos, in the Community Council of Skarino and in the old Community Council of Oroklini (1 Armonia Street).

From 13.30 in the afternoon until 18.00 in the afternoon there will be sampling points in the Community Council of Ormidia and in the closed sports hall in Athienou, while from 13.30 in the afternoon until 18.30 in the evening there will be a sampling point in the Community Clinic of Kornos.

In the province of Famagusta sampling points will operate from 08.30 in the morning until 18.00 in the afternoon, at the Spiritual Center of the Metropolitan Church of Paralimni, from 08.30 in the morning until 13.00 at noon at the Association “Onisillos” in Sotira, in the Community Council in Frenar Avgoros Seniors Club.

From 13.30 at noon until 18.00 in the afternoon, sampling points will operate in the church of Ayia Napa in Ayia Napa, in the Nationalist Associations of Liopetri and in the Adult Center of Deryneia.

Six points for rapid tests on Monday in Paphos
Six points were set by the Ministry of Health in Paphos District for the operation of mobile rapid sampling units, on Monday, both for the control of employees and for the control of the general population in order to provide faster service and avoid overcrowding.

Specifically, a mobile unit will operate today, February 1st until the 7th of February in the church of Apostles Paul and Barnabas from 8:30 to 18:00 in the afternoon, in the former house of the Prefect on Griva Digeni Street from 08:30 to 18:00 .

Also in Polis Chrysochous in the church of Apostolos Andreas from 8:30 in the morning until 13:00 at noon.

In Emba, a mobile unit will operate in the Multipurpose Hall of the Community Council of Emba from 14:00 to 18:00, in the Community Clinic of Timi from 08:30 – 13:00 and in the church of Agia Paraskevi in Geroskipou from 13:30 until 18:00 in the afternoon.

According to the Ministry of Health, with the aim of carefully restarting society and the economy in the context of the strategy of lifting the measures, the control program of the employees in companies that will reopen today, Monday, February 1, as well as the employees of companies are in operation.

According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, the goal of the program is continuous monitoring, while remaining vigilant to prevent outbreaks of cases within the workplace.

According to the Ministry of Health, in order to enable the control of all employees who will return to their workplace, the employees have been grouped alphabetically based on their last name.

Meanwhile, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, access to the Vaccination Portal from today, February 1st, will be available to people over the age of 84, who have not made an appointment in the previous weeks or have not already been vaccinated. The appointments concern the period from the 8th to the 12th of February.

The Ministry recommends to the citizens who belong to the age sub-group that has priority for vaccination, to arrange appointments on the first day and time available, so that there is a continuous flow in the Vaccination Centers.
