The immediate mobilization of members of the Ayia Napa Police Station, after a call for a burglary, led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man, who was found inside a pharmacy, says a Police announcement.
Specifically , around 5 a.m. today, the alarm sounded in a pharmacy in Ayia Napa. Members of the Ayia Napa Police Station immediately went to the scene, where they found an unknown man inside the pharmacy. The stranger was wearing a hat and gloves, while his face was covered with a mask and he was holding an iron crowbar and a shoulder bag.
As soon as the stranger noticed the police, he tried to run away, but the police managed to stop him. within the premises. In his attempt to escape, the unknown man resisted, as a result of which he was immobilized by the police.
From the tests that followed, it was established that he was a 33-year-old man, while after a search, various burglary tools were found in his possession, the an amount of €80 and various pharmaceutical products.
The 33-year-old was arrested for an unprovoked crime and was taken into custody to facilitate investigations.
