Yesterday, members of the Police, in Larnaca, proceeded to arrest two persons, men aged 37 and 32, in connection with an investigated case of burglary and theft, possession of burglary tools, and carrying a knife.
Shortly before 6:20 last night, following information about a burglary in a building in Larnaca, members of the Larnaca OPE, as well as members of the Larnaca Police Department, who were on foot patrol in the area, rushed to the spot, where on the roof of building they located the two suspects. From the examinations carried out at the scene, a number of copper pipes that had been cut from the roof were found in the vestibule of the building.
The members of the Police subjected the two suspects to a check and found in the possession of the 37-year-old, a number of burglary tools and in the possession of the 32-year-old, a golden picture and other objects, which he confessed to having stolen from the building. A screwdriver and a knife were also found in the 32-year-old's possession.
The 37-year-old and 32-year-old were arrested for spontaneous offenses and taken into custody for the purposes of police examinations, with the Larnaca Police Department investigating.
