Paphos tourism operators, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, had proceeded before the pandemic with a preliminary plan for the creation of cycling routes in the province of Paphos from 2021. The pandemic that broke out in the meantime, left this planning, like many others, incomplete. and now those in charge are turning to the second half of 2022 & nbsp; to promote it, as the situation with the new wave of Omicron & nbsp; will allow such a thing.
The design for the new cycling routes aimed at highlighting the countryside, the beautiful landscapes and the special morphology of the communities of Paphos. Four new routes are planned, covering mainly northeastern Paphos. At the same time, the implementation of the second phase had begun before the pandemic, which includes five routes that will cover the areas of Pegeia, communities of Laona, Polis Chrysochous & nbsp; and Akama. & Nbsp;
The visitors of Paphos province will now be able to enjoy the exciting experience of cycling even more upgraded as part of the wider holiday in Paphos, as a magical destination of activities, adventure, but also professional training.
At the same time, the institutions of the province are in progress an effort to find the necessary funds for the implementation of the necessary projects when the health and economic conditions allow it, while the plan for the promotion and announcement of these new routes through specialized channels for the promotion of cycling tourism is in full implementation. & nbsp;
