Suspension of 39-year-old driver's license pending adjudication of a case of injury to a fast-food restaurant owner in Peyia.
The District Court of Paphos has suspended the driver's license of a 39-year-old man for a case of injury to a fast-food restaurant owner in Peyia with his vehicle until the trial of the case.
According to Paphos ADE Representative and Head of Paphos TAE Michalis Nikolaou, the serious injury of a 36-year-old man was the result of a road collision, which happened on Wednesday afternoon in Pegeia.
To facilitate the investigations, members of the Police arrested and detained a 39-year-old driver, allegedly involved in the collision, who tested positive for alcohol.
Yesterday Thursday, he was brought before the District Court Pafos which ordered the suspension of his driver's license until the case is heard.
The Peyia Police Station is investigating the causes of the collision.
