Arrest of 34-year-old man for car theft – The third in the case – The other two are in custody

The Police made a third arrest yesterday, as part of the investigation into a car theft case in Paphos. Around 7 p.m. a 27-year-old resident of a village in the district of Pafos was arrested on a warrant and taken into custody to facilitate investigations. For the same case, two other persons, aged 34 and 32, were arrested in the previous days.
The car was stolen between the dates of October 30-31, 2022, while it was parked outside a building in Paphos. A few days later, on November 6, members of the OPE Limassol, during their motorized patrol, spotted the vehicle in question in the yard of a 34-year-old man's house in Limassol, while the 34-year-old man was trying to remove parts from it.

As soon as the suspect realized the presence of the Police, he ran away, however, he was subsequently arrested by virtue of a court warrant.
Since the continuation of the examinations of the Police, testimony was obtained against two other persons, aged 32 and 27. Based on this testimony, judicial arrest warrants were issued against them.
