The decisions of the Minister of Labor, Welfare and Social Insurance regarding the Special Plans for dealing with the effects of the coronavirus were published in the official newspaper of the Republic.
In a statement, the Ministry of Labor states that according to the said Decision, companies and self-employed persons active in the field of washing and (dry) cleaning of textiles and fur products (Steam cleaners) have the opportunity to participate in the Special Partial Suspension Plan of the Company (KDP 16/2021) and in the Special Plan of Certain Categories of Self-Employed Employees (KDP 18/2021) respectively, which are implemented for the period from January 1, 2021 to January 31 of 2021.
As he notes, a separate announcement will follow for the dates on which the interested parties will have the opportunity to submit the relevant applications electronically, for the period January 2021.
Regarding the extension of the deadline for payment of contributions of self-employed workers to the Social Insurance Fund, the competent Ministry states that due to the increased number of applications of self-employed workers for payment of contributions, based on real income, as well as non-employment declarations of self-employed workers COVID-19, contributions to the Social Security Fund relating to contributions on the insurable earnings of self-employed persons for the fourth quarter of 2020 may be paid until 1 March 2021, instead of until 10 February 2021.
