Three men attacked police officers at Larnaca Hospital - They did not like being watched

The Larnaca TAE is proceeding with an immediate registration before the Larnaca District Court for the immediate trial of a case against a 34-year-old man, who this morning, together with two other people, attacked police officers on duty at the Larnaca General Hospital.

According to the Police, the 34-year-old man who was arrested, is facing offenses related to inciting anxiety, disturbing the peace, drunkenness, assault on a police officer and a joint assault on a police officer.

It is recalled that today, 40 minutes after midnight, the 34-year-old along with two other men aged 27, transported an injured person to Larnaca General Hospital.

However, the three people who are from Greece, started to cause concern and quarrel with nurses of the Hospital.

Members of the Police who are permanently in the Hospital for security reasons, intervened to disperse them while reinforcements were called with the result that two other police officers went to the spot.

A 34-year-old man, who was allegedly drunk, attacked a police officer, resulting in his arrest, while the other two 27-year-old men attacked the two members of the Police.

The two 27-year-olds were eventually arrested by the police, however, they resisted and managed to escape, as a result of which they are wanted by the Police for a case involving, among other things, intoxication, causing anxiety, attacking police officers and escape.
