A 70-year-old driver of a private vehicle and an ambulance driver and nurse were taken to the Accident and Emergency Department of Paphos for treatment, after a car accident that occurred on Thursday, in Paphos.
According to the Police, at 18:00 on Thursday afternoon, a 70-year-old man from Paphos, while driving his vehicle in a parking lot of a bakery facing east, in his attempt to leave the parking lot and enter Anavargou Avenue in Paphos, below from conditions under investigation, collided with an ambulance which was leading to Anavargou Avenue in a north direction from a 37-year-old, with a 32-year-old nurse as a passenger.
The ambulance was on duty and had its headlights and siren on. The 70-year-old was trapped in his vehicle and released with the help of the fire service. All three involved were transported by ambulance to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Paphos General Hospital, where they were detained for treatment.
Their state of health is characterized by no danger. The vehicles suffered extensive damage.
