Three “quick” coronavirus tests, which one can use on one's own, are now available in Germany.
“We are licensing the first three tests today,” Health Minister Jens Spann told German public television channel ZDF, adding that they would be sold by the relevant stores, with more similar tests expected to be licensed in the coming weeks.
Regarding the plan for the free availability of “fast” tests, Mr. Span clarified that he expects relevant decisions during the teleconference of Chancellor Angela Merkel with the Prime Ministers of the states that is scheduled for March 3.
