In the context of promoting the regeneration of the Lady's Mile coast, the Mayor of Limassol continued his meetings with stakeholders. Today he met with representatives of Terra Cypria, the Cyprus Center for Environmental Research and Education and the Cyprus Bird Association. As it is known, after the preparation of the preliminary master plan for Lady's Mile by the Town Planning, the Minister of Interior granted the further promotion of the maturation of the project to the Municipality of Limassol.
It is noted that the preliminary master plan of Urban Planning was the result of consultations with many Government Departments and Bodies and is adapted to the environmental constraints arising from the Nature Protection Zones and Conditions in force in the area, while taking into account the improvement of accessibility and accessibility. of bathers and visitors to the area. The Mayor stressed to the attendees that the Municipality considers that the issue of the regeneration of Lady's Mile and the adjacent habitat is an extremely serious and sensitive issue that concerns national wealth and should be managed within this framework.
