Climaxing the inauguration of the new stadium, the President of the Republic Nikos Anastasiadis is carrying out a full-day tour of Limassol today, Friday, accompanied by Ministers and Government officials.
During his tour of Limassol, the President of the Republic will be informed about the implementation of projects that are either underway or ongoing and will contribute to improving and upgrading the quality of life of the city's residents.
The tour of President Anastasiades starts at 9:00 with a visit to the sewage treatment plant of west Limassol, in the presence of the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Agriculture, the Director of TAU and the Mayor of Limassol, while at 09:45 he will go to the construction site for the construction of flood protection projects, together with the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Labour, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare, the Prefect and the Mayor of Limassol.
This will be followed, at 10:15, by the opening of the Adult Employment Center, on Filellinon Street, and at 10:30 by the opening of the Municipal Center for Social Programs "Municipal Apartment Buildings of Ploutis Servas", on Misiauli and Cavazoglou streets. The President will be accompanied by the Minister of Transport, the Minister of Labour, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare and the Mayor of Limassol.
At 11:00, the President will lay the foundation stone of B’ Technical School of Limassol, in the presence of the Minister of Education and the Mayor of Limassol, while at 12 noon he will inaugurate the Post-High School Vocational Education and Training Institute, also in the presence of the Minister of Education, as well as the Mayor of Germasogeia.
The afternoon, at 18:30, the President of the Republic will inaugurate the laboratories of the Department of Fine Arts, new classrooms and the administration offices of TEPAK and at 19:30 he will inaugurate the new stadium of Limassol "Alfamega Stadium".
It is noted that, due to the limited number of invitations given , the CMO has made arrangements for the live broadcast of the inauguration of the new stadium, through the official CMO YouTube channel and through the Organization's Facebook page.
