A traffic accident occurred on Friday evening resulting in the injury of a 10-year-old in Paphos.
Specifically, around eight in the evening, under conditions being investigated, a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old man, on the street Alexandrou Ypsilantis heading towards Hellados Avenue, hit a ten-year-old boy who was crossing the road.
Members of the Police rushed to the scene as well as an ambulance to transport the boy to the Paphos General Hospital.
The 10-year-old was slightly injured and detained as a precaution for observation.
The Paphos traffic police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
