The Office of the District Engineer of Public Works of Nicosia announced that, on Friday 27/1/2023, between the hours of 09:30 – 13:30, on the Larnaca – Nicosia Highway (A2) before the Pera Chorio Nisos exit at the height of Alhambra village , information sign (VMS) installation work will be carried out and that during the execution of the work, the left lane will be closed for approximately 50 meters and traffic will be diverted to the right lane.
< p>As further transmitted by the GTP, the Larnaca District Engineer's Office announced that, in the period 27/1/2023 – 31/1/2023, every day except the weekend, between the hours of 08:00 – 15:00, in a section of the Larnaca highway – Ayia Napa, Dromolaxia area, despite the entrance to the motorway at the location of the Panorio Banquet Hall, cleaning works will be carried out on the drains and the road base and that during the execution of the works, the entrance lane to the motorway at the location of the Panorio Banquet Hall, heading towards the Rizoelias roundabout, will be closed to traffic. The traffic will be channeled through the Circular Junction of the Airport.
Also the Office of the Provincial Engineer of Larnaca announced that, on Saturday, 4/2/2023, between the hours of 07:00 – 09:00, in a section of the Nicosia – Larnaca motorway, overhead network works will be carried out by the Cyprus Electricity Authority (ECA) and that during the execution of the works, a point of the motorway after the Rizoelias roundabout and before the exit to Kosi, will be closed to traffic traffic simultaneously from both directions for about 3', four times, with the help of the Police.
