For the supply of goods, most Cypriots sent sms yesterday, Thursday, with the total number of approved requests amounting to 332,141 .
The main reason why citizens requested exceptional sms trafficking, yesterday was to go to a store to buy or supply essential goods and services (option 2). The second invocation of exceptional trafficking was physical or individual sport (option 6). and third was option 8 for other purposes
On January 21, based on the data provided by the Ministry of Innovation, Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, a total of 347,903 sms were sent with distribution requests, of which 335,732 were valid. Of these, 347,903 were approved.
For going to a pharmacy or for a blood donation or a visit to a doctor or for a laboratory test for Covid-19 or for vaccination at the vaccination centers (option 1), the approved sms amounted to 24,821.
For going to a store to buy or supply essential goods / services, including take away (option 2) the approved sms amounted to 129. 212.
For transfer to a bank (option 3) the approved sms were 3,968.
For absolutely necessary visits to state services or services of the wider public sector and local government (option 4) the approved sms were 3,777.
For trafficking to provide assistance to people who are unable to self-serve or who have to protect themselves or are in self-restraint and / or in places of mandatory restriction (option 5) the approved sms amounted to 21,787.
For travel for physical exercise or individual sport (option 6) the sms amounted to 78,376.
For going to a ceremony (eg funeral, wedding, baptism) (option 7) amounted to 1,186.
Finally for any other purpose (option 8) on Tuesday the sms were 69,014.
Exceptional movement of persons via SMS is limited to two times a day and requires people under 65 years of age.
It is noted that the reasons for not approving a traffic request are the wrong structure of the message, or the time for which the traffic request is made, ie not to fall within the hours that exceptional traffic is allowed, and the exceeding of the 2 allowed sms movements.
