Passengers wishing to visit Egypt will no longer need to have a negative PCR test if 14 days have elapsed since they were fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Al-Ahram refers to the new measures presented by the Ministry of Health of the country, according to which, for those entering Egypt, it will be enough to show a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they had been fully vaccinated for 14 days. before their arrival in the country.

The newspaper points out that the certificate must be recognized by the health authorities in their countries of origin and include a QR code, without deletions, modifications or additions to it.

Those passengers who cannot present a vaccination certificate must have a negative PCR test result that has not been issued for more than 72 hours.

However, passengers must submit a printed public health statement to the Authorities in Egypt, a document provided on board by the cabin crew, and passengers on board with a temperature above 38 degrees Celsius will not be allowed on board.
